This beautiful family gets the prize for traveling the furthest to have me photograph them. They came all the way from Maple Valley, Washington! Mom’s family is from Chester County. I have photographed all of mom’s friend’s children and she asked me to photograph her children during their visit. I was delighted! Q family it was a pleasure meeting you and I hope you enjoy the rest of your visit to the east coast.  Here are a just few of my favorites (I have SO many).

There truly is a special bond between girls and their fathers. I know because I see it everyday with my own daughter and my husband. To be able to capture it and put it in a photo is the one of the best parts of my job. These beautiful girls were a joy to photograph. Joe, you are one lucky daddy!

I so enjoy photographing siblings and these two girls were no exception. We had tons of fun playing peek-a-boo, singing songs and playing in the flower garden. Mom is expecting her third child in November. I wonder if she’ll have another blondie?  Enjoy your sneak peek.

milestones

July 13, 2009

Many parents love to capture their child’s first year by documenting the milestones (newborn, six months and one year). The last time I photographed this little guy he was a week old. But now just look at him! Six months of pure cuteness. I have so many favorites from this session, here are just a few.

One of my favorite places to have a session is Gibraltar Gardens in Wilmington, Delaware. This past week I was able to  hang out with my new friend A. The phrase “boys will be boys” truly applied to him.  He liked scooping up mulch and playing in the fountain. We had tons of fun! Mom and Dad I hope you enjoy these images of your  little guy.

This truly has been the month for newborns and I love it! Baby M made his appearance about a month ago and could not be more beautiful. He had the perfect “haircut” and the sweetest little face. Michael and Melissa congratulations on your newest addition!

This little guy had the most beautiful blue eyes and was so much fun to photograph. I brought out my old suitcases and favorite yellow chair and let him explore. Eight months is such a great age to photograph it allows for all kinds of fun expressions. Enjoy your seek peak!
