Sisterhood, I’ve heard, is a bond that can never be broken. I have had the pleasure of photographing Miss M (aka older sister) many times before and she always leaves me with a huge smile on my face. She is simply adorable. On Saturday, I was introduced to Miss M’s baby sister and what can I say, she is beautiful. I just know these girls are going to be the best of friends and that they will have a strong bond of sisterhood throughout their lives. Congratulations K  family on your newest addition!

This little sweetheart was only thirteen days old when I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph her. There is just something about a newborn that makes my heart do back flips. Could it be the way they smell? Their soft breathing? Their tiny toes? YES! It’s all of that and more. Kristy and Michael I hope these photos let you hold on to all of that newborness. So… here she is, Miss T, all pretty in pink.

Beth, these are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for capturing all the sweetness and newness of my newborn angel. These memories are truly priceless.
Thank you for helping us to treasure and appreciate this most precious stage of life! Kind Regards, Kristy

This handsome little guy just celebrated his first birthday. I have been documenting him throughout the year and have enjoyed every minute. Our session took place at Longwood Gardens where Mr M had a blast playing in the children’s garden.  Enjoy your sneak peek Mom and Dad, I bet it’s hard to believe a year has gone by already.

    Gorgeous! Love the last one.

and still SO adorable. When Mom called to schedule Miss E’s photo session to celebrate her turning one year old, I could hardly wait to see this cutie pie again. Even though the ground was covered with a few feet of snow, we escaped to Longwood Gardens where the smell of Spring was wafting through the air.  For those of you who are interested in having your child(ren) captured during the winter months, Longwood Gardens is amazing.  I have so many favorites from this session,  I can’t wait to share the gallery with Mom and Dad. Happy Birthday sweet Miss E!

robin’s nest

February 7, 2010

It is with a heavy heart that I write about this beautiful woman whom I photographed not so long ago. Her  name is  Robin.  Robin is the sister to one of my very dear friends, Kara. Robin was digagnosed with cancer two years ago after the birth of her third child. She put up one heck of a fight, but on Sunday, February 7th she lost her battle with cancer. She was a sister, a daughter, a wife, a friend and a mother. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.  If you would like to make a contribution to Robin’s Nest please click here.

Robin, you will be greatly missed.

So very sad. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Every time I photograph a newborn I am reminded of how very precious life is. The newness of this sweet baby and the love that his parents felt for him made me love my job even more. Mr R welcome to the world I know it will be a better place with you in it:) Congratulations Mom and Dad. He is beautiful.

I have had the honor of documenting this handsome guy’s first year and I have enjoyed every minute! Together with Mom and Dad we have created a beautiful keepsake album of his first year of life. I hope when Mr G is a young man he will look back on the images and know how much he was loved.
